Just a matter of hours after the debut of Game Of Thrones season 8 episode 1, HBO offered fans a look behind-the-scenes of the massive production.
The 17-minute video gives fans a look at how much time and money goes into each and every shot of one of the most comprehensive and ambitious shows in television history.
Whether it's an arrow through the eye or an axe to the face, every shot is built from the ground up, with each gruesome death meticulously pulled off with a combination of prosthetics and stunt professionals. Even the blood red leaves on Winterfell's Weirwood Tree are custom made!
The S8:E1 set was also visited by a few unexpected guests.
Comic actors Rob McElhenney (It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia) and Martin Starr (Freaks And Geeks) guested as a pair of doomed Ironborn thugs.
Star Wars creator George Lucas dropped by to survey the production. Show runner David Benioff says he thought Lucas's impending drop-in was a "practical joke."
"For so many of us, he's the one who started out obsession with this kind of big, epic storytelling," Benioff added.
The Game Revealed clip even gives us a glimpse of Lucas joking on set with Thrones stars Emilia Clarke and Kit Harrington.
Finally, we get a fascinating look at the last scene of Episode 1, one of the show's most suspenseful sequences and terrifying jump-scares.
In the interest of not spoiling anything, we'll leave it at that.
See it all in the clip above!
