Judas Priest Cancels Colorado Show As Rob Halford Battles Bronchitis

Judas Priest In Concert At The Palms

Judas Priest had to nix its Thursday, June 5, concert in Colorado Springs, Colorado, while front man Rob Halford recovers from bronchitis.

Halford has reportedly been wrestling with illness since last week. The cancellation came at the urging of The Metal God's doctors.

"We are very sorry to say that Rob Halford has been fighting bronchitis for over a week and now doctors have told him he needs full rest so his voice can recover," the band said in a statement. "Therefore Judas Priest's concert at Broadmoor World Arena, Colorado, Springs, has unfortunately been cancelled."

The band apologized again but added that its priority has to be Halford's health.

"We are so sorry to disappoint our fans but the Priest will be back to Colorado Springs at a later date. Until then refunds for all tickets will be available at point of purchase."

Halford will have a few days off before Judas Priest's next scheduled show on Saturday in Saskatoon, Canada.

The front man made news last week when he kicked a phone out of a fan's hand during an Illinois concert.
