Evans is a booming city in Columbia County and I gotta say, congrats to Evans for making the list and becoming number one on the Best Place to Live and for keeping things going strong during the pandemic!

Finance magazine Money announced Tuesday that Evans took the No. 1 spot on itsBest Places to Live list.
The list features 50 towns and cities where the economy, job growth, and housing market remained strong despite the COVID-19 pandemic. The magazine looked at towns and cities with a population of at least 25,000 and removed places with more than double the national crime risk, those with a median income level lower than 85% of its state’s median and those with little ethnic diversity.
″(Evans) is brimming with good-paying jobs thanks to its proximity to Augusta as well as affordable homes, top schools, access to arts and culture, and a diverse population, which some residents attribute to its military presence,” Money stated.
It really is a great city to be in!
