Rush drummer and primary lyricist for the legendary band RUSH has died. Peart was 67. He was known for his technical proficiency, and for weaving jazz and big band patterns with a hard rock style.
Peart's death was kept quiet...his publicist says he died this past Tuesday 1/7/20 in California. Reports are Peart died from brain cancer.
This is a devastating blow to the music world. One of the greatest drummers ever. Condolences to the many #Rush fans, of which I was one.
