Harrison Ford is back on the big screen with a furry co-star...only this time, it's not Chewbacca. And it looks like he had fun making this film.
From Dark Horizons:
Harrison Ford plays the (sort of) main character in the Jack London classic "The Call Of The Wild", one of the last 20th Century Fox productions before passing over to the Disney properties. Ford's co-star Buck is a fully CGI dog, and the result is pretty amazing.
‘Call’ follows Buck, a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life is turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Alaskan Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s.
As the newest rookie on a mail delivery dog sled team, and later its leader, Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime, ultimately finding his true place in the world and becoming his own master.
OK - Let's put it out there - Ford hasn't done a really good movie in a while. I mean, I seriously love and admire the guy, he's one of my top movie heroes. THIS movie looks like he had a lot of fun making, which makes it worthwhile to me to see.
"The Call Of The Wild" arrives in theaters on 2/21/20, and I think I'm definitely gonna check this one out on the big screen. Check out the trailer below.
