Former Cream drummer Ginger Baker has passed away at the age of 80, after a lengthy stay in the hospital. Baker was known for songs like "White Room", "Sunshine Of Your Love", "Crossroads", "Can't Find My Way Home", and many others.
His family posted a statement on Facebook and Twitter Sunday morning confirming the news.
"We are very sad to say that Ginger has passed away peacefully this morning. Thank you to everyone for your kind words to us all over the past weeks."
No cause of death has been made public.
Baker's attitude was infamously known throughout the music world, and was made even more known in a documentary made a few years ago, titled "Beware Of Mr. Baker", where he actually broke the nose of the director ON SCREEN. If you have ot seen this, I strongly recommend you find it and watch.
